How to Replace the Exhaust Flex Pipe

To replace the exhaust flex pipe, start by lifting the car to gain better access to the pipe located underneath. Mark the cutting locations and proceed to make the cuts, taking into account any necessary overlap adjustments.

If the flex pipe was secured by clamps, simply loosen the hose clamps to detach it. Insert the new flex pipe in place of the old one and secure it either by welding or using clamps. If welding, remember to disconnect the battery first. For clamps, consider using exhaust system sealant to ensure a proper seal.
